Terms of Sale: Tenancy Deposit Claim Pack (Digital Download)
Last updated 30 October 2026. These terms apply to consumers buying the pack. They are separate from the business terms for directory listings elsewhere on this website.
1. Who we are
1.1 The pack is sold by Noverquis Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17521667, registered office 37 Longfellow Way, London SE1 5TB ("we", "us").
1.2 Contact: support@tenancydepositcheck.co.uk or by post to the address above.
1.3 We are not a law firm. We are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, the Bar Standards Board or any other legal regulator, and we do not give legal advice. Buying the pack does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Our documents are not official government or court documents.
1.4 We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
2. What you are buying
2.1 The "Tenancy Deposit Claim Pack" is digital content supplied by download. It contains the documents listed on the product page when you buy: start-here guide; how an unprotected deposit claim works; scheme check and evidence checklist; penalty calculation matrix; statutory interest schedule; letter before claim; witness statement template; Form N208 guide and Details of Claim; serving the claim (N215 and N510); settlement agreement, consent order and Tomlin order; and fees, hearing and enforcement guide.
2.2 The pack concerns claims under sections 212 to 215 of the Housing Act 2004 for properties in England. It does not cover Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
2.3 The pack states the law at the date shown on each document (30 October 2026). Law, court fees and forms change. Before you issue a claim, check the current official form and fee. We do not promise updates to your copy.
2.4 We do not promise any outcome. Whether a court makes an award, and how much (between one and three times the deposit if the court finds a breach), is for the court.
3. Price and payment
3.1 The price is GBP 19, in total, payable by card through our payment provider, Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. No VAT is added.
3.2 The contract is made when your payment is confirmed. We then email you a confirmation (see clause 4.5).
4. Immediate access, delivery and your right to cancel
4.1 Because the pack is digital content, you would normally have a right to cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is made (Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulations 29 and 30(2)).
4.2 We will begin to supply the pack within those 14 days only if, before you pay, you: (a) expressly consent to the supply beginning straight away; and (b) acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the supply has begun (regulation 37).
4.3 At checkout you will be asked to tick a separate box for each of these. If you do not tick both, you cannot buy the pack for immediate download.
4.4 Once supply begins (when your download page opens or your download link is sent to you) and you have given the consent and acknowledgment above, you lose the right to cancel.
4.5 We will send you an order confirmation by email, which confirms your consent and acknowledgment, and includes our details, the pack description and price, and your download link.
4.6 If you change your mind before supply has begun, you may cancel within the 14 days by emailing support@tenancydepositcheck.co.uk, and we will refund you in full within 14 days of your cancellation.
5. If something is wrong with the pack
5.1 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these terms. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose you made known to us, and as described (sections 34 to 36).
5.2 If it is not, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced (section 43). If that is impossible, or is not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to a full refund where appropriate (section 44).
5.3 If a file is missing, corrupted or will not download, email support@tenancydepositcheck.co.uk and we will resend or correct it.
5.4 The pack is described as self-help information. It is not a fault in the pack if a court reaches a different result from the one you hoped for.
6. Licence to use
6.1 We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to download, print, adapt and use the documents for your own tenancy deposit matter, including a joint claim with co-tenants for the same tenancy.
6.2 You may not resell, publish or distribute the pack or substantial parts of it.
7. Our responsibility
7.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
7.2 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
7.3 The pack is self-help information. Subject to clauses 5 and 7.2, we are not responsible for the outcome of your claim or for decisions you make based on the pack. You should check court rules, fees and deadlines for your own case.
8. Your personal information
8.1 We use your name, email address and payment confirmation details to process your order, deliver the pack, keep accounting records and respond to you. Card payments are handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Notice.
9. Complaints
9.1 If you are unhappy, please contact us first at support@tenancydepositcheck.co.uk. We aim to reply within five working days and to resolve your complaint fairly.
9.2 If we cannot resolve it, you may seek advice from Citizens Advice, and you keep all your legal rights, including the right to bring proceedings in court.
10. General
10.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in England or Wales you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in either those courts or your local courts.
10.2 The pack is intended for use in England. We do not market it to consumers outside the United Kingdom. If you live elsewhere, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country may also apply to you.
10.3 If we need to change these terms, the version in force when you bought the pack applies to your purchase.
